These practical workshops are led by qualified educators and artists. Students create artworks in response to the ideas, concepts, materials and processes they have seen in their Connect to Art tour.
Students work either independently or collaboratively and are encouraged to:

EXHIBITION IN FOCUS
Students are invited to examine creative processes and consider artworks as a conversation between the artist and the viewer. Students will create artworks to communicate their own ideas and concerns in response to the themes, materials, techniques or processes seen in the exhibitions or sculpture park.

FOCUS ON SCULPTURE?
Working collaboratively and using a variety of materials, students create a three-dimensional maquette for Heide's sculpture park. This problem-solving workshop encourages students to explore the expressive potential of shape, form, space, colour, texture and light in relation to the surrounding environment.
