Join us for an afternoon of music celebrating the artistic life and experimental spirit of John Nixon, featuring Domenico de Clario on grand piano, David Chesworth on keyboard, and a performance by The Donkey’s Tail reuniting former members of Nixon’s band. Described by Nixon as ‘an experimental, abstract, free-noise, improv garage ensemble’ The Donkey’s Tail was known for its unconventional instruments, songs, and playing techniques, and for its inventive performances.
