Heide Gallery Kids is a fun, interactive time for parents and grandparents to connect with their pre-school aged children and engage with the arts. Join Art Therapist Tanis Douglas for playful activities and mindful awareness in Heide’s sculpture park and gallery space. Sessions focus on the important role art plays in child development and wellbeing. Gallery Kids is a great way to engage in creative exploration and learning with young children and also connect with your adult creative self. Sessions include meaningful shared story and song time with themes tied to Heide’s history and exhibitions.

Please note: Gallery Kids is suitable for all pre-school children from ages one year to five. Children under one year can attend <a href="https://www.heide.com.au/events/art-babies/">Heide Art Babies</a> with Tanis Douglas on Tuesday 10 am. This is not a drop-off session, and carers must be with children at all times. As some activities will include viewing works in the outdoor sculpture plaza, as well as gallery viewing and play, please dress your child suitably for the weather.
