Students take part in a practical workshop led by trained educators and artists and create artworks motivated in part by those they have seen on their Responding to Art tour as well as by their personal concerns and interests.
Students work either independently or collaboratively and are encouraged to:
• be reflective
• consider new ideas
• experiment with artistic materials, tools and methods
• find creative solutions to art-making problems
EXHIBITION IN FOCUS
Students will be asked to consider art as both a creative process and a conversation that occurs between the viewer and the artist. Students will then become artists and communicate their ideas and views in an artwork that considers themes, materials or processes seen in the exhibitions or sculpture park.

WHAT IS SCULPTURE?
Working collaboratively and using a variety of media, students will create a three-dimensional maquette for the sculpture park at Heide. This problem-solving workshop encourages students to explore the expressive potential of shape, space and texture in relation to the surrounding environment.
