Chief Operating Officer

The Chief Operating Officer will provide leadership in financial, human resources and facilities management and commercial operations. He or she will be responsible for ensuring that revenue is optimised through streamlined business processes that meet and maintain company financial objectives and audit requirements.

The Chief Operating Officer will work collaboratively with the Director & CEO and the Board to ensure Heide flourishes. Direct reports include staff responsible for finance, payroll, visitor services, facilities and gardens, retail and events.

Gardener

Heide is seeking a suitably qualified horticultural professional to assist the Head Gardener in the development, care and maintenance of its extensive heritage gardens, sculpture park and grounds. Heide’s Gardener will also participate in various educational and public programs associated with the cultural heritage and history of the site, and the Museum’s collection and exhibitions programs as necessary. The Gardener role operates in a team environment. The role reports to the Head Gardener and also works closely with the Facilities Manager across the site.
