Simryn Gill: Gathering considers questions of place and history, and how they might intersect with personal and collective experience.
In 1957, after ten years living overseas and submitting to a certain nostalgia for Australia, Albert Tucker exhibited a series of paintings based on the story of the notorious bushranger, Ned Kelly.
This exhibition launches Heide II, the second home of John and Sunday Reed , as the new dedicated gallery space for the Heide Collection.
Programs at Heide include artist talks, studio visits, exhibition and history tours, gardening workshops and kids & family activities.
