Helmet

The major sculptural commission Helmet, by Melbourne artists Tanya Court and Cassandra Chilton, forms the new visual east/west gateway between Melbourne’s northern and eastern suburbs.

Located at the intersection of Manningham Road and Bridge Street, Bulleen, this work of black steel and sculptured lawn represents a major collaboration between Manningham City Council, the State Government and Heide Museum of Modern Art assisted by Parks Victoria and promotes greater public access (bicycle, public transport and pedestrian) to Heide and neighbouring Banksia Park.
