Unit 4: Art industry contexts and issuesVCE students partake in an information session about Art Industry contexts, tailored to aspects of the Unit 4 Studio Arts Area of Study 3 outcome.
Using visual examples from Heide’s current and past programs, the Education Officer discusses Heide’s role as a public gallery, exhibition display, conservation and storage practices. Curators are available to speak to students upon request.
Suitable for VCE Studio Arts students.
Recommended duration: one to one and a half hours for the presentation. It is recommended that teachers also book a guided or self-guided tour of current exhibitions to complement the session.
