The People's Panel

Art is about expression. Expression of thoughts, ideas and opinions.
But art is nothing if it’s not seen, discussed, even debated.

Introducing The People’s Panel.

Over the next few months, LED screens will replace static wall labels beside some of the artworks in Heide's exhibition Call of the Avant Garde: Constructivism and Australian Art. These screens will help you connect more deeply with those works by allowing you to leave a comment. We've even replicated the gallery experience with special displays opposite Flinders Street Station and Southern Cross Station, so you can interact with Heide's exhibition in the CBD.

The People’s Panel invites you to give your take. There’s no right or wrong answer, so feel free to share your honest opinion about the art and how it makes you feel.

As well as sharing your own view, you’ll also be able to read other people’s comments. Who knows – maybe we’ll all start to see the artwork in a new light?

To share with us, simply tweet using the hashtags next to the artwork, so we’ll know which one you’re talking about.
