Join this exhibition floor talk with Antony Penrose, curator of Surrealist Lee Miller, and author Drusilla Modjeska. Penrose is Lee Miller’s son, co-director of the Lee Miller Archive and the author of The Lives of Lee Miller, soon to be released as the movie LEE starring Kate Winslet as Lee Miller.
Sydney author Drusilla Modjeska is one of Australia&#8217;s most acclaimed essayists and nonfiction authors, and the winner of three NSW Premier&#8217;s awards for nonfiction and an Australian Literature Society Gold Medal. Her forthcoming book A Woman’s Eye looks back to the lives and art of Lee Miller and other artist-women in an era of Surrealism and war.
