Join Dugald Noyes, Heide’s head gardener, and the chef from Café Vue at Heide in harvesting fresh autumn vegetables, which will then be prepared for lunch. Ian Jones, author of Ned Kelly: A Short Life and The Fatal Friendship: Ned Kelly, Aaron Sherritt & Joe Byrne, will discuss the portrayal of bushrangers in art, literature, film and dance, centering on Ned Kelly and the remarkable cross fertilisation Ned inspired between Tucker and Nolan.
