Program Calendar
Programs include artist talks, studio visits, exhibition and history tours, gardening workshops and kids & family activities. All programs are designed to provide an insight into the art, architecture and landscape of Heide.
For activities where children are left under the care of Heide staff, please download and complete a booking form and bring it with you on the day of the program.

Sunday's Garden

Parents and carers with babies and toddlers join a Heide volunteer guide for a tour of the exhibition and gardens, with activity stops designed to entertain and engage children. Following the tour, morning tea will be served by Café Vue at Heide in the Sidney Myer Education Centre overlooking the Heide gardens.
Suitable for ages 0 to 5 years.

Fantastical Creatures with artist Louise Saxton

In response to the exhibition Sanctuary, artist Louise Saxton will conduct a printing and collage workshop using patterned paper printed from scraps of fabric and other materials. Each participant will make their own collage of a
bird, insect or plant.
Suitable for children 5 to 12 years.
