The Central Galleries within Heide III focus on contemporary art from the 1980s through to today, from expressionist paintings to postmodern installations and works exploring personal and cultural histories.

In Heide I, the exhibition presents some of the earliest works in the Heide Collection, with a focus on an important group of works from the 1930s.

This exhibition features key works by artists of the Heide circle of the 1940s.

The works presented in Heide II demonstrate the increasingly varied nature of John and Sunday Reed's collecting during the 1950s.
