Heide Café Redevelopment

The Premier of Victoria, The Hon. John Brumby MP, officially launched the redevelopment of Heide Café on Monday 31 March 2008.

The building project commenced on Monday 14 April 2008 and the redeveloped café will open November 2009.

The new café, by Chris Connell Design, will respond to the existing structure, part of the award-winning McGlashan & Everist suite of buildings, while bringing a fresh approach that will provide a unique experience for visitors to Heide.

The café redevelopment is part of Heide's ongoing building program and has been made possible with funding from the State Government, through Arts Victoria, philanthropic and business partnerships.
